Need help for HP cd-writer+ 7200i

Hello everybody,

I hope someone in the group can help me.
I am not asking support for myself, but for a Dutch friend of me.

After formatting her harddisk she lost her installation-software of her
"Hewlett Packard cd-writer plus internal 7200i".
So she has the hp-writer (hardware) in her pc, but she can't use it, she
can't copy cd's or burn mp3's anymore.
In the past she has bought her pc, problably with receiving the installation
cd-rom, but she can't find it anymore.

I have tried to use my Nero 5.5 cd-rom, but my Nero is the Plextor-version,
so she can't use my Nero 5.5.

My question is: is there someone in this Newsgroup who like to send me the
hp cd-writer+ 7200i installation-software ?

Hello Corné,

Thanks for your help Corné.
In the meantime I have found someone who like to lend me his original HP
cd-writer+ 7200i installation software.

About your questions:
Yes, I have tried Nero 5.5. - Plextor-version: no result ... it doesn't
work.
Yes, I have visited http://www.hp.com/: you can only buy the software,
that's not what I had in mind.
