I bought this HP m385c at Sam's Club and it seems OK except there's a lot of
junk software on it. Is there a site with a comprehensive list of what's
there and what can be safely jettisoned?

Plus, click on Word and Word runs instantly. But if you click on a doc file
in Explorer it takes 25-30 seconds to run Word 2003. Also happens if you
click on a doc file attachment to an email. What's with that?

I already removed that dog Norotn Anti-V and replace with something just as
good but a lot simpler (AVG).

Cheers for help--

Get winpatrol. I great little program that lets you know what's
running easily and lets you stop it.
